Shakeria Montronice Bucey, 17 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she assaulted her boyfriend with a metal chair.
Reports added that after swinging the chair at him she proceeded to throw it at him.
The victim told police that “she started the altercation when he wouldn’t listen to her.”
Officers went on to say Bucey refused to get into the patrol car while being placed under arrest.
Bucey is charged with simple assault and obstruction.
