The FlexiSpot E7 Pro Plus Standing Desk offers a compact design that is easy to use and understand. The FlexiSpot E7 Pro Plus Standing Desk meets your standing desk needs by offering a beautiful design with easy-to-operate controls at the helm of the overall experience. It can fit into nearly any office setup, with a choice of multiple options. FlexiSpot E7 Pro Plus The FlexiSpot E7's base structure uses solid carbon steel that's durable and sturdy. Buy at FlexiSpot FlexiSpot E7 Pro Plus Standing Desk setup Setting up the FlexiSpot E7 Pro Plus Standing Desk was fairly easy to do. It mostly consisted of screwing in bolts, plugging in cables, and following the step-by-step setup manual in the box. The legs and the desktop arrived in separate boxes, but do be warned, the box for the legs is very heavy — weighing almost 70 pounds. The table top was lighter at around 25 pounds in weight. You can set up this desk by yourself, but for lifting it and turning it over, it is best to do it with the help of a partner. You can position the wires to your liking — we set them up to come out of the left side of the desk, which is where the control panel is — and then can tuck them all away with the cable management compartment located underneath the desk, so they are hidden from sight. Cable organization compartment The desk only has one cable to plug in, so there is no need to mess around with bulky cords to connect the motor to power. Instead, it is as simple as plugging in a lamp, and everything works immediately. The setup time to get everything together was about 30 minutes. FlexiSpot E7 Pro Plus Standing Desk design The FlexiSpot E7 Pro Plus Standing Desk is a heavy desk that, while taking up a lot of room due to its size of it, has a bunch of leg room underneath when having it at sitting level. The review unit we got was 55" in width and was made with bamboo in a darker color. The bamboo is resistant to water, scratches, and insects. Bamboo desktop You can purchase different size desktops and sizes ranging from 47.2" to 80" in width — price may vary on size and material. The top of the E7 Pro Plus Standing Desk is smooth and not rough, with accommodating rounded edges that make the desk appealing to the eyes and the touch. On the left side of the desk is the control panel to adjust the height of the desk. It can go as high as 49.4 inches and as low as 23.8 inches. The desk can hold up to 355 pounds. On the right side of the control panel is a single USB-A port to plug in a charging cable for your devices or any other compatible cable. FlexiSpot E7 Pro Plus Standing Desk usage Using the FlexiSpot E7 Pro Plus Standing Desk is easy to learn and simple to control. All the controls are located on the panel on the left side of the desk. The buttons are tap-sensitive, so you do not need to press in to activate the dual motors. Instead, you lay your finger on the controls to adjust the desk's height. In addition, they are very responsive, so there is no need to tap them multiple times for your desk to move. Control panel The up arrow raises the desk, and the down arrow lowers it — pretty self-explanatory. On the right side of the control panel are preset heights that you can set to any measurement you want. In the middle is a mini-screen that tells you what height your desk currently is at when raising and lowering it. When you press one of the preset heights, the screen automatically shows the measurements changing in real time. There are designated standing and sitting buttons that can also be customized to any height you want. To set the preset height, you just set the table to the measurement you want, tap the M-button and then tap the button you want to preset the height. For safety, a child lock feature is also integrated into the E7 Pro Plus Standing Desk. To activate it, hold onto the M-button for five seconds until you see a blue flashing light and hear a rapid beeping noise. To turn it off, you just hold the same button again until the blue light turns off and you see the current height of the desk on the mini-screen. When raising and lowering the desk, the transition is smooth and does not interrupt anything on the surface. For example, when raising and lowering the desk with a cup of water on it, the water stayed perfectly still with only little movements. Ergonomic Chair Pro addition While the FlexiSpot E7 Pro Plus Standing Desk is promoted for standing usage, you can also have a comfortable sitting experience. FlexiSpot offers a compatible desk chair to go with the desk that is comfortable to sit in and easy to assemble. Ergonomic Chair Pro The Ergonomic Chair Pro is a perfect addition to the E7 Pro Plus Standing Desk by mixing design and comfort elements to produce an enjoyable sitting experience. Assembly of the Ergonomic Chair Pro is easy and only takes one person to complete the setup. It can take 20 minutes at most to put it all together. The chair's height can be adjusted along with the height of both armrests and the headboard. You can also recline in the chair while being able to lock how far back you want to go, and the Ergonomic Chair Pro circles 360 degrees and has wheels on the bottom that can move easily on wooden floors and even carpeted areas. Ergonomic Chair Pro wheels The Ergonomic Chair Pro is sold separately from the FlexiSpot E7 Pro Plus Standing Desk. A smooth desk experience throughout The FlexiSpot E7 Pro Plus Standing Desk is great with its minimalistic design, easy controls, and smooth height transitions. Its core feature is adjusting the height of the desk, which it does this efficiently. FlexiSpot E7 Pro Plus Standing Desk From the bamboo desktop to the skinny desk legs, the desk is beautifully designed and can fit nearly any office setup. In addition, there is a bunch of room underneath the desk for your legs, so you won't feel cramped when sitting — or standing — at your desk. The controls are easy to learn and use, and the tap controls are very responsive and do not lag from activation to running. At a max of 49.4 inches, the desk can be set at very tall heights, and at 23.8 inches — the minimum height for the desk — you can use it while sitting on the floor if you prefer. Tallest height for E7 Pro Transitioning between heights is smooth and does not shake nearly anything on your desk. Everything will stay in place without the fear of it falling over. The downside of the desk is that it only comes with one USB-A port. If you would like to purchase an outlet power strip to go on top of the desk, that will cost you extra. Also, the desk is a little expensive- almost $600- for the desk legs alone. The desktop starts at $70 for chipboard and can go up to $210 for bamboo with an integrated wireless charging pad. Overall, using the FlexiSpot E7 Pro Plus Standing Desk was enjoyable, and we rarely saw any issues. It is big, beautiful, responsive, and generally a great desk to work on. If you are looking for a good standing desk to work at that is reliable, easy, and safe to use, then deeply consider looking at the FlexiSpot E7 Pro Plus Standing Desk.
